Suzuki, the Japanese manufacturer to launch the latest Vitara at 2014 Paris Motor Show

first_imgSuzuki i-V-4 Concept Japanese auto manufacturer Suzuki has released the official image of the newVitara sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). This compact crossover SUV will be officiallyunveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Interestingly, Suzuki is reviving theVitara model name for its all-new five-door car, which will compete againstrivals such as Nissan Juke and Ford Ecosport.Much like the Grand Vitara, a four-wheel-drive option will be offered viathe AllGrip system in the new vehicle. According to Suzuki, the Vitara”will have a striking road presence with distinctive design.” Globally,customers will get the option of personalising the car with different colourand trim customisation options.  The Vitara production model is based on the Suzuki iV-4 concept, first seen atthe 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is built on an all-new platform, which isexpected to underpin a number of future vehicles by the company.Power in the new Vitara is expected to come from the 1.6-litre petrol anddiesel powerplants from the SX4 S-Cross. A new generation S-Cross is expectedto come to India by 2015.last_img
