first_imgWe travelled to Downings on Saturday evening for the First Round 1st Leg of the championship.Downings got off too the perfect start with an early goal, a cushion they held on to for the rest of the match. With both defences coming out on top Downings won a low scoring game 1-9 to 0.6The return leg is scheduled for the 27th August. The Junior B championship resumes this weekend with a home match on Sunday against Malin at 3pm. The Minors host Carndonagh in the championship on Friday evening at Páirc na nGael with a 7.30pm throw Inn. The U15 League commences on Sunday next with a 12 noon throw in at Dunfanaghy against St Michaels. The club extends best wishes to Daniel O Driscoll who has recently moved to Waterford.Congratulations to the U8s on a fantastic performance at the home Blitz on Sunday last.The club are holding their Annual Family Fun Day on Sunday September 25th. The day will include a Barbecue, athletics, Novelty and many fun events.
