first_imgSHANGHAI – The earthquake occurs 100 km from the Three Gorges Dam, but does not cause any damage to it.A 5.1 magnitude earthquake shook the Enshi Miao Autonomous Prefecture of central China’s Hubei Province at 1:04 p.m. (Beijing time) on Monday.Chinese Xinhua News Agency reported that the earthquake at a depth of 5 km occurred 100 km from the Three Gorges Dam.
