Nation’s No. 1 Recruit, Bryan Bresee, Announces Commitment Date

That paved the way for Bryan Bresee, a five-star defensive end recruit from Maryland, to take the top spot in the 2020 class.Just over a month after regaining his status as the No. 1 recruit in the country, Bresee made a major announcement on Twitter.Early Friday afternoon, Bresee revealed his commitment date.The No. 1 recruit plans to make his announcement on April 23.Commitment day set April 23rd!— Bryan Bresee (@bryan_bresee) April 12, 2019In the fall, Bresee revealed the top six schools he’s considering: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.A few months later, 247Sports’ Crystal Ball Predictions have the Clemson Tigers as the heavy favorite to land the No. 1 recruit.Clemson – 96% of predictionsOhio State – 4%Ohio State was the heavy favorite heading into Bresee’s junior season, but the Tigers have made a significant charge over the past few months.Bresee stands 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 290 pounds.
