Waybright and his wife Chris Waybright began their transition from Trinity to Lake Avenue Church with their arrival in the Pasadena area in September, 2007. Gregory L. Waybright was president of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. He assumed this position on September 1, 1995. Prior to working at Trinity, Dr. Waybright had been pastor of the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In his 20 years as a pastor he has also served as senior pastor of Grace Bible Church in Arroyo Grande, California and as assistant pastor of Calvary Memorial Church in Racine, Wisconsin.Lake Avenue Church, 393 N.
